Unlike traditional L-brackets, the Atoll allows you to keep your camera attached to your tripod head while changing orientation. You can replace the quick release plate on the ATOLL C with an Extended quick release plate, it will become ATOLL D.

The Atoll features tactile indicators at 0°, 90°, and 180° to help you maintain your alignment as you rotate your camera. This is particularly useful when composing your shot, as it ensures that the center point of your image stays in the same place even as you switch between portrait and landscape modes.

The Atoll is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, making it rugged and lightweight. The ring is attached to your camera via the 1/4 inch tripod mount and doesn’t touch your lens, so you can change lenses quickly and easily without having to remove the Atoll.

The mounting foot on the Atoll is Arca-Swiss compatible, which means it works with a wide range of tripod heads and clamps on the market. Additionally, the second plate under the camera is also Arca-Swiss compatible and works with various capture clip-style accessories. The Atoll is available in 2 sizes (Atoll S and Atoll C) to fit a wide range of cameras and lenses from brands like Canon, Fujifilm, Leica, Nikon, Olympus/OM, Sony, and Panasonic. If you have a smaller or differently shaped camera body, you can also purchase Extender and Heightening plates separately to ensure the correct fit.
