The Ronin 4D features the Zenmuse X9, DJI’s flagship full-frame camera, and the latest image processing system, CineCore 3.0. X9’s DL mount supports three compact full-frame prime lenses, each lightweight and made of monocoque carbon fiber. Additional DJI lenses will be available in the future.
Interchangeable Mounts
X9 supports interchangeable lens mounts, including DJI’s proprietary DL mount and third-party mounts like Leica M. It provides flexible lens options, supporting ultra-wide, f/0.95 large-aperture, electronic zoom, macro, and anamorphic lenses.

4-Axis Stabilization System: Steady in Every Way
DJI Ronin 4D adds a Z-axis to the traditional 3-axis gimbal, effectively reducing vertical camera shake and providing stabilization performance comparable to a dolly. The four axes, along with sensors and advanced algorithms, elevate stabilization to a new level, making complex camera movements easily attainable.
Integrated Gimbal Camera
Ronin 4D integrates imaging and stabilization systems, with only the sensor and necessary optical components in the gimbal camera. LiDAR Range Measurement
The LiDAR Range Finder offers fast and accurate focusing with up to 43,200 ranging points within a 10-meter detection range. Compared to phase detection autofocus, Ronin 4D’s LiDAR Focusing System excels in low-light environments, ensuring exceptional focusing capabilities.
Autofocus
With the LiDAR Focusing System, Ronin 4D maintains focus even with severe motion blur. Autofocus is available on manual lenses, and continuous autofocusing can be enabled with ActiveTrack Pro for convenient solo operation.
Automated Manual Focus
Automated Manual Focus (AMF) mode combines the accuracy of manual focus with the convenience of autofocus. The focus wheel synchronizes with focus point changes, and cinematographers can take manual control at any time. The dynamic damping with electromagnetic technology provides a physical sense of focus changes, offering an intuitive and modern focusing experience.
